March 2019 Update
Thanks to Dr. Diane Murphy at Marymount University in Ballston for hosting our March meeting. We especially enjoyed the talk given by Brigadier General (ret) Gregory J. Touhill, who's now President of Cyxtera Federal, one of our many sponsors. For our chapter members who are also (ISC)2 members, CPEs will be posted to your account shortly.
We are now in the final stages of putting together our next few general session meetings:
April 11: Richard Spires, CEO of Learning Tree to talk about cyber workforce
May 9: Terry Halverson, CIO/EVP of Samsung to talk about 5G/IoT
September 12: Ron Ross, NIST Fellow to give us an update on the 800 Series
As soon as we lock these down, we will post them on our event calendar and send out email notifications to our members so you can register. Make sure you are registered as a member so you can get notified - our events fill up quickly. We also continue to receive very positive feedback on our Tech Talk events at Nova Labs in Reston. If you have any questions or have ideas on how we can improve your experience as a chapter member, please contact me at email@example.com. Thank you for your support.
