James Quinn



Bio: 
Head of Post-Breach Remediation, Ankura LLC

James Quinn has more than 20 years' experience in IT Security, Incident Response, and IT Engineering and Architecture. He is currently the Head of Post-Breach Remediation for Ankura, an industry leader in IT security consulting and incident response. Before joining Ankura, he worked for Wipro, managing the entire U.S. consulting team, and with Deutsche Bank where he was responsible for ensuring that all IT projects worldwide were secure and compliant. He holds a CISSP certification, has served on the board of the New York InfraGard Chapter, and is active in several professional organizations, including the High Technology Crime Investigators Association and the USSS Electronic Crimes Task Force.

Mr. Quinn grew up in Europe, attending schools in five different countries, holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Washington, and a Master of Arts in Security Studies from Georgetown University. He lives in New York City and spends his spare time as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Civil Air Patrol, an active member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, the international gastronomic society, and is active in several community organizations. In a previous career, Mr. Quinn sang and conducted opera professionally, which explains his ability and willingness to make a fool of himself in front of audiences.
