What is this?
The new Northern Virginia Chapter of ISC2 will host this event in the Tech Talk Series at Nova Labs. ISC2 CPE will be given for this event.
The presentation will cover common penetration testing techniques and why they still work in modern day enterprise networks. This portion of the presentation will present a combination of my personal experiences (war stories) with different organizations and verticals (Education, Energy, Healthcare, State Government, Retail etc.) and different attack vectors to include web application and network.
The next portion of the presentation will talk about more modern techniques used to attack and compromise modern domains. This includes offense in depth and modern techniques that attackers use for lasting persistence in an enterprise domain. This presentation will cover the use of PowerShell, living off the land, and sneaky ways that attackers can use Active Directory to persist within a domain environment.
